We are a design and renovate company that focuses on interior renovations, especially kitchens, bathrooms and modifying floor layouts. Our focus is to improve people’s lives by improving their homes, and to create a renovation experience from start to finish that is as painless as possible. We are a team of Designers, Project Managers, and Carpenters providing a full-service renovation experience. We are looking to hire an experienced procurement and administrative assistant who has relevant residential construction experience and who is looking to grow with a company. The ideal candidate must have an appetite for challenge. This is an environment where we challenge each other daily to find new and innovative ways to succeed. Must be organized, detail-orientated, able to work independently and in a team environment. 

Responsibilities

  • Work with suppliers on material ordering, confirmation, and delivery
  • Review and understand the construction schedule to ensure that the required materials arrive on-site on-time
  • Assist the Project Manager as needed with administrative support, attending to deliveries on site, and customer communication
  • Perform basic customer service duties including but not limited to greeting and assisting customers, answering questions, and processing payments
  • Respond to telephone and in-person requests for information
  • Assist in maintaining overall appearance and cleanliness of showroom, and sales tools such as catalogues and samples
  • Develop relationships with vendors and suppliers
  • General sales administration duties as required
  • Research concepts and materials to support Design/Sales Team

Requirements

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and Google Sheets
  • Experienced with technology platforms. Familiarity with Buildertrend and Smartsheets considered an asset
  • Experience in the residential construction industry would be considered an asset
  • Detailed orientated and strong organizational skills
  • Strong written and oral communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and in a team environments
